I wanted to pay homage to the vibrant floral life in New York City. In a city as harsh as NYC, softness exists in every corner in the form of fresh flowers. They provide loveliness and nourishment for the soul -- things that are just as important in surviving rough NYC. This could be why they are so prevalent here and will continue to be.
