Hi! I’m Abigail Zara, a New York City-based Filipina filmmaker, writer, and photographer. My work focuses on telling the stories and struggles of ordinary people, combining creativity, passion, and service.

I am drawn to personal narratives surrounding creative freedom, authenticity, complicated family dynamics, and love and acceptance, and community stories, especially those of the world’s working people, BIPOC stories, and themes like economic struggle and immigration.
